Cafe Sabarsky

by The Wandering Jew

Located in the Neueu Gallery on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Cafe Sabarsky is a delightful Viennese restaurant that is ideal for a brunch date or a weekend meal after enjoying the museum or similar attractions nearby.

Service is good, the food is delicious, and the ambiance captures a sophisticated, yet demure aspect of Manhattan.

The wood paneled room and high ceilings lend a good deal of charm. While the restaurant does not take reservations, you need not wait on line to get in to the Gallery; simply let security know and you will proceed up the half flight and to the right, where a host will let you know if a table is available.
