Decades Pizza has had a lot of buzz. Located in the up and coming hipster enclave of Ridgewood Queens, the restaurant only opened recently. On a quiet block with a pleasant facade, Decades has a nice bar with a decent selection of booze and a friendly bartender.

We made a reservation and strongly encourage you to do the same because it fills up!

Funnily enough the appetizers were the best part the meal. The caesar salad, broccoli rabe, and arancini were delicious.

The pizzas were good, but not great and certainly not worth the shlep from Manhattan. We tried the Golden Green and VCR and Regular. All were light on the sauce with a good crust, fine eats but nothing spectacular.

With so many great pizza places, we think this one does not merit the rave reviews of others.
