Elias’ is a cash only old school Greek restaurant. The fish is displayed up front. Note the restaurant does not take reservations, but there is a large back room and there should be no issue getting a table.
The food is fresh and the staff is helpful. Highlights include the saganaki appetizer, the branzio and porgy main courses.
The wine for $15 a carafe is also a nice addition. This is a classic Astoria establishment and a really nice way to have a pleasant meal with friends or family or a date that values quality over frills.
