This is a new addition to Dizengof Square. Falafel Schnitzel has a surprisingly prominent location and decent size space for what appears to be a sleepy operation with a delicious product. In a city known for its schnitzel, this might be one of the best.
The owner makes schnitzel in a pita, baguette or challah. There is also falafel. Prices are reasonable and the product is excellent with thin, crispy cutlets and well executed condiments.
There are a number of tables outside protected by two rows of plants. This is a great place to grab a casual and delicious schnitzel by yourself or with friends. If you don’t see the owner, just wait as he is likely in the back and will emerge when he hears you.
