Tel Aviv is full of nondescript gems and Hummus HaMeshorer solidly falls into that category. While there are famous hummus joints in Jaffa and the Carmel Market, HaMeshorer stands above them. Asi and Adnan is comparable.
The restaurant has a small space by Habima square with a few stools inside and a few tables outside. The owner, along with a young kid helping with serving, are pleasant and helpful.
The star, however, is the food. The hummus is superb. The pita and the garnishes are excellent. If you like hummus, visit HaMeshorer. You will not break the bank in making your stomach extremely happy.
