Located in the trendy, but pleasant neighborhood of SoFi, Intimo is a welcome culinary addition. On the same street as Milos, Papi’s Steak and near to several other staples, Intimo has claimed its stake for high end Peruvian Japanese fusion on the south point.
The restaurant takes reservations and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. The bar is elegant, if small. I recommend sitting along one of the banquettes inside or, if you like to people watch, get a table outside as you see the various celebrities and others come and go from the various restaurants.
The food at Intimo is good – the ceviche, the sushi bombs, nigiri, maki and main courses such as miso black cod are all well executed. If you want a pleasant, upscale, but not absurd fusion experience, check out Intimo, especially with a date.
