This is the best vegan burger I have ever had. It is actually hard to believe it is not meat. Located on 6th Avenue near Soho, Jerrell’s is a no frills takeout spot with a few tables outdoors. The staff is friendly, which helps compensate for how slow they are. The prices are average.
The food, however, is exceptional. The burger is incredible and the chili on waffle fries are superb. The waffle fries themselves are alright.
Order in advance online or be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes. If you’re in the area at night and need a late night bite, check it out. It stays open until 4am.
Note that salt content in the burgers might be high; the author has not figured out what exactly makes the burgers so delicious.
