A relatively recent addition to the Upper East Side, Keys & Heels is a welcoming speakeasy that accepts reservations. Behind the facade of a locksmith’s store is a bar with lots of tables for parties of 2.
The space is lit demurely and ideally suited to a date. The staff is pleasant, the drinks are good, and the food is well regarded.
While it can get a little loud, it is also a reasonably priced spot that isn’t a pain to book. This is an ideal place for a first date or drinks after dinner or to enjoy a light bite.
