Nonna 1977 is tasty pizza slice shop with creative square pies. They offer slices at reasonable prices and with outdoor seating. It is a charming spot with a great back story – the owner was forced to leave Manhattan due to rents and returned to his boyhood neighborhood of Astoria.
This is a casual takeout spot, worth going for a slice with friends or by yourself. There are so many to try that it really depends on what you like, but know that you can’t make a bad choice at Nonna’s 1977.
