Rubirosa

Nolita, New York

Rubirosa nyc

Rubirosa is a cozy Italian restaurant in Nolita. Incredibly popular with tourists and locals alike, it does take reservations and we encourage you to make one as the wait can be significant.

There is a cute dining area all the way in the back; the rest of the tables line the entry and hallway, which while serviceable can be frenetic.

Rubirosa nyc pasta

Surprisingly, this has become a destination spot for pizza. However, we think the pastas are actually worth a visit. This is a fun part of town with the opportunity to walk down Mulberry street after dinner at night.

If you have room, try Figo gelato that is a quick walk or Morganstern’s ice cream. Rubirosa is a good date spot or a place to go with friends. It won’t break the bank and the food is good, if not great.
