Nolita, Manhattan, New York

saito Nolita, Manhattan

Saito is a relatively new addition to SoHo on Kenmare. Spoiler alert – it’s terrific. The food is great, including the tuna ribs that you can scrape with a seashell and the sticky rice with spicy tuna, ikura, and salmon are all wonderful. The sashimi is delicious as well.

The service is attentive and the venue has a low key vibe, which is not nothing in such a see and be seen part of town. There do seem to be a few nooks through the restaurant allowing for privacy.

We recommend making a reservation and enjoying a delicious meal. It won’t break the bank. Go with friends to try the tuna or, if you’re at the point in your relationship where you’re comfortable making a mess at dinner, give it a shot.
