In a random side street in Hell’s Kitchen, you’ll find the superb UT47, which offers vegan fusion korean food.
There is often a wait for brunch though it is worth it. The restaurant is small, but has a deceptively large garden area all the way in the back, which I recommend you enjoy on a nice day since it is so bright and the rest of the restaurant is narrow and a bit less private.
The food itself has terrific options, blending NY staples with Korean traditions. Highlights included the vegan egg, tofu bacon, avocado on a bagel with vegan cheese. There are also a variety of teas to choose from. The food is moderately priced and the service is pleasant. If you are in Hell’s Kitchen and want a vegan bite, check it out.
