If you’re looking for a good value sushi restaurant on the Upper East Side, go to Yuka! It has a reasonably priced (~$30) all you can eat option that has good quality roles. They are strict about not finishing – you will pay individual prices for whatever you do not eat and that adds up – so sharpen your pencils and order as you go instead of all at once.
The space is small and there is only a little outdoor seating, but the staff are pleasant and efficient. You should expect to wait up to 30 minutes if you go during peak hours. If you have a craving for dessert afterwards, check out Anita’s Gelato across the street afterwards. Better yet, have someone from your dinner party get in line at Anita’s while you pay.
